Intercity rail
- Illinois was awarded $1.1 billion for Chicago to St. Louis high-speed rail that will improve end to end travel time by 90 minutes to 4 hours. Missouri was awarded $31 million for improvements to the St. Louis to Kansas City rail line. (The White House)
